Girl’s Night in Long Beach

My first night in California I spent with a handful of girls.

My girls.

Some are handmade shop owners, one raises money for charity and non-profit organizations, and another works alongside her sister in putting on a growing handmade market two to three times a year. Being around these women, for any length of time, gives me such a motivational and creative boost. It’s almost like a shot of adrenaline.

Oooooh, I love the fisheye lens. It makes for some interesting images.

We joked that this picture looked like the “Ruthanne Show” . . . . I guess my head does looks rather large! ;-)

You can’t have a girl’s night in a hotel without the standard jumping-on-the-bed shot. Jeannett was our one willing model.

I was afraid I would injure myself.

::cough::

I laughed harder than I have in a long time and stayed up into the wee hours of the morning, but I woke up with a smile on my face and joy in my heart.

So thankful for friendships.
