I view my clients as friends and this page as my way of introducing myself. I’m Ruthanne! A born and bred Arkansan. As such, I’m also a Razorback fan by birth. We call the hogs at Christmas each year. No, that doesn’t seem strange to me. Why do you ask? 😉
There’s a line in the 1995 movie Sabrina that goes something like this: “I think I’ve been taking pictures all my life . . . long before I ever had a camera.” Cheesy? Yes. But as my Wisconsin born husband likes to say, “A little cheese isn’t bad.”
My pursuit of art began years ago and has taken on many forms with me ultimately finding my true love in photography. After that initial click of the camera, there was no looking back. I love seeing what unfolds through my lens and capturing the beauty that is life.
I’m a firm believer that having your picture taken doesn’t have to be painful. In fact, it can be downright fun and a time full of laughter. That’s the kind of energy I like to bring to each photo shoot.
Now, I take my art seriously, but myself? Not so much.
I like my beer dark, my coffee black and my movies classic.
Also, if Jack Bauer were to run for President, he would have my vote.
I’ve been known to eat chocolate chips straight out of the bag.
I snort sometimes when I laugh. I can’t control it. I’ve tried.
I can’t parallel park.
One time I dressed as a ninja and ate breakfast at Denny’s. Voluntarily.
My favorite line from Sweet Home Alabama is: “People need a passport to come down here!” I wish it were that easy to keep the Yankees out. Ha! Just kidding. I married one. 😉
I’ll end with this: I cried when I found out Santa Claus didn’t exist. I’m still not over it.
